Before showing you the results of these few health guests I must say that almost everyone that comes through our lifestyle program has a reduction of their blood lipids. And that makes sense because of a simple plan that incorporates an enjoyable exercise program and deliciously prepared meals which are low fat and no cholesterol. A vegetarian cuisine does not mean you must sacrifice taste or satisfaction. The opposite is true for, almost without exception, everyone loves the food. This lifestyle is so simple that everyone can do it. You will be fully prepared to carry on at home as you attend the nutritional and health seminars and establish habit patterns as you live and work with us.

Stop Smoking Program

These People Kicked the Habit. How About You?

Are you in bondage to a habit that is killing you? You don’t have to be. Yes, smoking is a tough habit to break and that is why you need help. At Hartland Lifestyle Education Center we have a five day stop smoking plan that really works. Thousands all over the world have been set free by this method.

John was hooked. He had tried many ways to stop smoking but nothing was working. At the urging of his mother, he signed up hoping that this time he would gain success. He immediately became enthused about what he was learning. Receiving a steam treatment to help eliminate toxins was part of his daily routine. It really surprised him that he was not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms and became so excited about the health principles that he was learning that he wanted to bring his wife through a health session. As we said goodbye to him, he promised to return with her. He was true to his word and we had an enthusiastic couple who eagerly grasped new health concepts and practices as a team. Cigarettes were no longer part of his life. He had replaced them with positive new habits and was happier because of it.

George is another man that found the program worked for him. He and his wife came up from Florida believing it was worth the trip and I am so happy to report that they were not disappointed. The love and support they received was a big contributing factor to George throwing away his cigarettes for the last time, and none too soon. Smoking had already damaged his lungs making it difficult for him to walk any great distance. Building up his tolerance with a regular exercise program he was able to walk 4 1/2 miles the day before he left and said that his breathing was much improved. Four years later found George and his wife returning for another lifestyle health program. No, he did not come back to stop smoking for he remained smoke free. They just wanted a refresher on all the important health principles and to get another dose of love. Alumni are very special to us, in fact they become part of our Hartland family.

Linda was a closet smoker, hiding it from family and friends. It was a terrible way to live and came to us seeking help. Along with her goal to stop smoking she wanted to lose some weight. Being a mathematician she found that subtracting 13 1/2 pounds from her weight was actually fun and the health principles added together equaled a better life, for she was now a non smoker and was free from her caffeine addiction. Lana lived in a neighboring town and she promised to come back for a visit and dinner but she did something even better, she came back one year later to go through another 18 health session reporting she still wasn’t smoking, and remained a vegetarian and no longer used caffeine. Can you beat that!

To stop using drugs was not easy but Michael was happy that cocaine was now a thing of his past. He knew he now needed to quit smoking. He also had an addiction to caffeine, drinking eight cups of coffee or Coke each day. He had a sister that loved him very much and made the preliminary calls to the Lifestyle Education Center concerning her brother. He agreed to give it a try. You can understand his apprehension as he walked into the office to register. His fears were soon dispelled as he became involved in the program. What amazed him was that he experienced no withdrawal symptoms. He replaced the negative with the positive. How about you?

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that health thee” (Exodus 15:26).
